Key to the Garden is a community-led, not-for-profit group based in Huddersfield, UK. Founded in 2019, we have been dedicated to serving our community through a blend of education, social support, and arts & 'edutainment'.As a non-profit organisation, our work is driven by the needs of the people we serve. We focus on creating inclusive spaces and meaningful activities that enrich lives and strengthen community bonds.Through our diverse programmes, we aim to open doors to knowledge, creativity, and mutual support—providing, as our name suggests, a "key" to personal and communal growth.

📖 Quran & Sacred Learning, The Noble Recitation Course – Authentic Tajweed instruction with Shaykh Abdoulaye Sawadogo, a renowned Qari with multiple ijazah chains.
🌳 Children & Families Blossoming Flowers – A dedicated initiative providing fun, safe environments for children to learn and experience the beauty of Islam through events and activities in Huddersfield.
📿 Spiritual Education - Regular Qasidah Burdah classes, local and regional dhikr gatherings, and opportunities to learn sacred texts, connecting the community with traditional Islamic scholarship.
⚽ Youth & Community - Youth sports activities promoting teamwork, health, and positive engagement for young people in a supportive environment.

Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi is a widely respected religious scholar who also has a significant spiritual following worldwide.Born in Damascus, eloquent in Arabic and fluent in English, deeply rooted in the Sharia sciences, he inspires love for the Prophet ﷺ and connects to his Sunnah.BACKGROUND
Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi was born in Damascus and was trained in Islamic studies by his father, who was an Imam and instructor at the Grand Umayyad Mosque. He is a world renowned Islamic scholar of theology, jurisprudence, and Hadith.
